Hi, I’m roberta!

I’m here to support you with your next writing project. A Durham, NC native and proud UNC and NCCU alum, my professional background is rooted in the nonprofit sector, with a strong focus on community development and K-12 education. Serving as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Director of Grants for Communities In Schools of Wake County deepened my passion for writing and strategic communication.

Beyond my professional work, I am an avid tennis enthusiast—though “enthusiast” hardly captures the depth of my passion. Tennis transformed my life over a decade ago, and ever since, I’ve been dedicated to using the sport as a vehicle to inspire and empower young people.
